We are so excited about our Kitchen Aid appliances,” the Donovans said. Tim and Dawn chose all stainless-steel appliances for the home which included a gas oven and stove, faucet, dishwasher, microwave, trash compactor and refrigerator. FAN-TASTIC

“We love our Hampton Bay ceiling fans because of the height of the ceilings throughout our house and the convenience of the remotes,” Tim Donovan said. The Donovans chose the Geometrique Square Basin sink by Porcher for their master bathroom sink. This simply shaped basin sink is an above-counter lavatory that is sleek and modern, gorgeous and functional. Light draws out the radiant beauty of the cast glass process, and its rear drain with contoured bottom is easy to use. SUN AND STAR SHINE

“The rain falling on the skylights sounds just like listening to rain fall on a tin roof,” Tim Donovan said of his Velux skylights. Allowing light to filter throughout their entire great room and kitchen, Velux skylights provide the Donovans with an abundance of natural light. www.veluxusa.com   

DRAPED IN LUXURY

Elizabethtown, KY local Rachel Brosky of Rachel Brosky’s Fabrics designed the Donovan’s window treatments to bring the bold colors of their home together. Tim’s favorite is the master bedroom treatments, while Dawn’s favorite is in Reagan’s room.  

TUNE IN

Century Entertainment provided the wiring for the Donovan’s entire house, in addition to the flat-screen televisions in the master bedroom, great room and daughter Reagan’s room. TAKE IT FOR GRANITE

The Donovans chose their granite countertops from Stone Works, a local store in Elizabethtown. For the serving bar countertop they used Absolute Black and the kitchen countertops are Bordeaux.  

CUSTOM BUILT CABINETS

The cabinets were custom-built to hold cookware without scratching everything and are a favorite product in the Donovan home.  

FLOOR SHOW

The tiles in the kitchen and hardwood floors throughout the house are another Donvovan favorite. Colonial Hardwoods provided their slate porcelain tile and Bruce Hardwood floors. www.colonialinteriorsinc.com     

CONCRETE SIDEWALKS

The concrete porch, patio and sidewalks at the Donovan home is an on-site, stamped, acid-edge special finish created by RJ Concrete.
